Kimisha King - Training Coordinator at Barbados Employers' Confederation

Kimisha King joined the Barbados Employers’ Confederation in 2016 as an Intern who later became the Research Officer on a short-term contract. She now serves as the Training Coordinator. Ms. King holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Labour and Employment Relations from the University of West Indies and has pursued an Associate Degrees in Law, Government and Political Studies at the Barbados Community College.
Kimisha has achieved a Level 4 Caribbean Vocational Qualification in Assessment (Management) and is a certified Internal Verifier for National and Caribbean Vocational Qualifications. She has worked with the TVET Council on occupational standards and curricula. Additionally, she is privy to standard approval and quality assurance meetings for vocational qualifications which contributes to her knowledge of training and development. Prior to her second stint at the Confederation she worked as a Database Consultant and a Clerical Officer with the Technical Vocational Education and Training Council.
